Insekten krabbeln desorientiert umher. Sie sind verloren in einer Welt die intim und zugleich äusserst fremd ist.
Caress ist eine bittersüße Poesie über Einsamkeit, zermürbende Wut und unerfüllte Sehnsüchte. Ein trügerisches Wiegenlied dient als Hintergrund für eine Welt, die von Gefühlen unangebrachter Zärtlichkeit bewohnt wird, welche wie Insekten in einer Wüste menschlicher Haut herumirren.
Während den Filmaufnahmen wurde den Tieren keinen schaden zugefügt.
